HORNEX vulcanized fiber is made from unbleached specialty paper based on cellulose and cotton – sustainable, durable, and produced entirely in-house. It is one of the few materials of its kind still manufactured in Europe today.

Our vulcanized fiber is produced in a multi-stage process: Raw paper is treated with a parchmentizing solution, then hardened under pressure and heat, followed by washing, drying, and conversion into rolls, strips, or sheets – all entirely in-house.
